As a Daily Joe barista, you will be at the heart of our store experience. You will be the familiar, friendly face behind someone's daily coffee. You will craft every drink with consistency and care, create real connections, and make every visit worth coming back to. 

Responsibilities

  • Store Opening and Closing: Complete opening and closing procedures, prepare displays, and restock supplies.
  • Customer Service and Order-Taking: Welcome customers, take accurate orders, address concerns, and create a friendly store experience.
  • Drink Preparation: Prepare coffee beverages according to Daily Joe’s standards. 
  • Inventory Management: Count inventory, monitor stock levels, and report replenishment needs. 
  • Cash and POS Handling: Process payments accurately, operate the POS system, reconcile the cash register, and submit daily sales reports.
  • Cleanliness and Food Safety: Keep the store, equipment, and display areas clean, sanitized, and ready for service.
  • Team Support: Support promotions, work with the team, and help improve store operations.

Must Have

  • At least a Senior High School graduate
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Basic numerical skills for handling payments, inventory, and reports
  • Comfortable using POS and other digital tools
  • Available for shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to perform the physical requirements of the role, including standing for extended periods and handling store supplies

Nice to have

  • Experience in a café, food service, retail, or hospitality role
  • Experience with inventory counts and daily reports
  • Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation
